Sofia, April 13th, 2010 – Bianor joined a European consortium which submitted a proposal under the FP7 6th ICT Call for proposals, addressing the topic of digital libraries and digital preservation.

The project name is DYNAMIX (Dynamic Aggregator of Media Art for Innovative Use, Access, Collaboration and Experience), and is a Large-scale integrating project (IP) coordinated by the University of Bremen.

Sofia, March 1st 2010 – Bianor was recognized as an innovative enterprise of 2009 during the Sixth National Innovation Forum, which took place on March 1st, 2010 at the Sheraton Hotel in Sofia. The award was presented by the Prime Minister of Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Boyko Borissov.

Bianor won the innovation award for its mobile application iMediaShare, which reached more than 200 thousand downloads from Apple App Store only in 2 months after the launch.

The platform brings together more than 600 enterprises and academic institutions active in the field of mobile communications. Uniondale, New York, January 29th 2010 – The iPhone application iMediaShare, developed by Bianor and launched at Apple App Store at the end of November 2009, reached more than 200 thousands downloads.

iMediaShare is the first of its kind iPhone application providing fast and easy sharing of multimedia files through Wi-Fi networks and the functionality of DLNA standard for data sharing. Using the mobile application all pictures located on the mobile device can be viewed on the TV screen.

Uniondale, NY December 7th , 2009 – Cell phones are now connected to home media center thanks to iMediaShare – the media sharing application – for cell phones developed by Bianor.

iMediaShare allows multimedia files located on users’ mobile phones to be transparently viewed on TVs at home. Using iMediaShare users can easily share the multimedia content available on the mobile device through Wi-Fi connectivity to home media systems including gaming consoles and latest TV sets.
