Relevance in Mobile – Building the Right App for the Right Audience

May 20, 2010

Relevance in mobile applicationsEarlier this week I took part in a workshop named Mobile Marketing  and Advertising 2010 organized by our friends from Mobile Monday. It was a very interesting event with quite a lot of case studies and cute ideas how mobile can help businesses to promote their products and solutions. And the key message in all the presentations, show cases, panels and informal discussions was that a mobile campaign shall be relevant – it shall be addressed to the right people, highly personalized, and with clear message.

CTIA Wireless 2010

March 29, 2010

I’ve just recovered from the long days (and nights) I had in Las Vegas during this year’s CTIA Wireless. It was really a good show but in my opinion it was not so impressive as Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Maybe because I saw almost all the same stuff or maybe the one that is only applicable to the US market. Anyway here are some of my impressions from the show.

MobiECO SF @ Interop NY

October 28, 2009

The leading global business technology event – Interop New York is just a few weeks ahead. It’s going to take place at Jacob Javits Convention Center between November 16th and 20th.

Bianor’s going to be part of the Technology Expo presenting the latest version of its MobiECO Sales Force. The solution, developed on the LISA 2009 Top Product Winner – MobiSDP mobile platform, integrates mobile and fix corporate communications with enterprise CRM systems.

The product ensures that sales people spend their time talking to customers instead of updating CRM records. MobiECO Sales Force processes all customer voice communication data and stores the relevant information under the corresponding CRM records thus ensuring that no customer communication data is lost and no lead remains untracked. The system helps sales teams improve efficiency through real-time member performance statistics, voice notes, call records and customer interaction rules.

The application of unified communications will be demonstrated by Bianor’s team at booth 910. We will be glad to meet you there and discuss more about the benefits our mobile technologies can bring to your enterprise.

The Future of Mobile Messaging

September 30, 2009

Last week I visited “The Future of Mobile Messaging”  – a great conference about mobile messaging in today’s world. It was amazing how entrepreneurs, telecom experts, marketing professionals and other active people in mobile world unified around the idea that the future of mobile messaging for consumers more or less belongs to the social media. Almost every single speaker was referring to Facebook, MySpace or LinkedIn as an opportunity to launch the next kind-of killer service that will increase ARPU.

T-Mobile for example presented two handsets with entirely reshaped idle screen through which one can browse in a fancy way all contacts merged between handset’s phone book and the Facebook account.  She could see their status, latest wall posts and even call them with just a single click without the need to start any kind of application – it is just there, the first thing you see when the handset is switched on.  The service is only available to T-Mobile subscribers and most importantly – it is totally free. T-Mobile demonstrated a great market differentiation for the young audience and it will definitely rock the market.
