iMediaShare Free for Android Now Supports Xbox & Samsung

June 16th, 2010

We’ve just released a new version of the free Android iMediaShare.

The coolest new thing to look for is support for Xbox 360 and Samsung Series 6.

You could download the app from the Android Market.

I have a Samsung UN55B6000 LED TV. Will your Media Share app work thru the Info Link connection dongle that I hook up to the back of my TV? Or is there a “how to” on sharing my media from my Droid Incredible to my Samsung TV?

Also, I have a BDP3600 Samsung BluRay player that can connect to the internet via WiFi. Will your app work when trying to the PC streaming function on my BluRay?

    Thanks

If you are referring to this dongle, it should work:

    http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/tv-video/televisions/television-accessories/WIS09ABGNX/XAA/index.idx?pagetype=acc_detail&subsubtype=wireless-usb-adaptor&returnurl=%2Fus%2Fconsumer%2Ftv-video%2Ftelevisions%2Fled-tv%2FUN55B6000VFUZA%2Findex.idx%3Fpagetype%3Dprd_detail%26tab%3Daccessories

We haven’t tested it though. Feel free to try it out with the iMediaShare Free from Android Market and let us know if you experience problems. You can consult our Quick Start guide, available here: http://www.bianor.com/ims/quick_start.html

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Paul,

On the newest Samsung TV’s/BlueRay look for “Anynet+” in the menu. If iMediaShare is on you should see it listed there.
